My Reality: Slidecast > Videocast

If my reality is better than your reality than using still images in a video podcast is better than using actual gameplay footages. I mean, don’t people say that a picture is worth a thousand words? Right, well, I think everyone see past the statement and see that my reality is based on laziness.
I really do love using actual game footage because that’s what makes it a video after all but as a busy college student, without an editing studio and staff backing me, I just don’t have the time or energy to download all the necessary footage and then edit it in, only to discover later that YouTube took down the video due to copyright infringement.
So that’s why our future episodes will contain images instead of footages at time. There will still be footage since I still have good amount of video files saved into my computer from having made so many videos of this kind but I feel that some will feel more like a slideshow presentation than like an actual video.
Because we have such a small following, perhaps it’s not a big deal to worry about but I will be honest in saying that I’m not completely satisfied with myself to take this route, but I hope those who watch it still enjoy the discussions we have and enjoy the Artificial Idiocy episodes.
