The Quest to be on iTunes
iTunes isĀ really great application for finding awesome (and always free) podcasts as anyone with an rss feed can submit a podcast for the entire world to listen to or watch.
A couple weeks back, when we uploaded AI – Holiday Delays one of our viewers WillPG1212 asked if we could also provide AI in audio form. This comment really inspired me (Kwonstein) to try to find a way to submit AI as a podcast to iTunes. As you can see, we still haven’t succeeded at this, but really, what would you expect out of a person who doesn’t know anything about such matters? I mean, I didn’t even know what rss feed was until like just a week ago.
The issue is creating the rss feed itself. To be honest, I just don’t know how. I made a Blogger account and messed around with FeedBurner but when I submitted the feed to iTunes, all I got was a message that read, “There are no episodes in the feed.”
So that’s where I’m stuck at. I really wish I knew someone who was experienced with this sort of thing. How to make an rss feed that iTunes accepts as being full of episodes, that’s what I’m struggling with here. I have all the audio clips I can use uploded on this wordpress account so I think I’m more than ready, but I definitely just need some how-to guide from anyone who knows something about this. If anyone at all reads this post and knows something about creating rss feed, I would really really appreciate it if you leave a helpful comment.
